This is the other sample Stacy picked out. Dry, it smelled nicely like malty chocolate. Brewed, I get more of a baked bread scent. The flavour is lighter than expected, with some fruit and sweet potato notes. It does have some baked bread as well. Now it tastes a bit like raisin bread, which I really like. Praise Yavanna!

My first tea of the day, somehow. This smells a bit like cinnamon at first, but that’s the infuser. Otherwise, I some malty notes and hints of citrus. The flavour is smooth and sweet. It’s refreshing, and solves my Ceylon craving.

I got this as a free sample with my Momo. It doesn’t say ‘Assam’ on the package, it has that scent. Though it seems to smell only mildly malty. That doesn’t really come out in the flavour, and it’s on the bitter side. Once it cools a little, it’s okay.

Stacy was nice enough to pick this out for me. It smells interesting, I get different notes from the different teas. Mostly, it has a malty scent. The flavour is more on the citrus side, with some hints of malty chocolate. It’s a nice blend.

Today, I finally got around to using this. It works so well. I got tea stains off of two mugs, and two travel mugs. In fact, the only stains left were those where the smart soak didn’t reach. Very glad this works so well.

It’s two weeks until my b-day, so I got some cookies. By Hestia, this does smell like cookie batter. Dry it has a really good almond scent, brewed- more citrus comes out. The flavour is more like an almond pastry with orange zest. I liked the added flowers as well. A good tea for the Autumn season. Thanks to Stacy for the recommendation.

Happy Autumn! This is my last bit of the tea. It smells so good. There is a nice scent of oranges, and some almond. The almond comes out more in flavour along with the citrus. It tastes like really good scones. Now I need more.

Flavors: Almond, Orange

My first tea of the day, and the last of samples (mj) sent me. The dry leaves smell pretty foresty. After I brew, I get some more floral scents. There is a tangy, and kinda creamy flavour. Not really what I was excepting, but good on a rainy afternoon.

The last one of the Butiki order. There is mostly a malty scent, with some citrus notes. It has a sweet flavour, and is a bit more malty. A nice evening cup while I watch Doctor Who.

I wanted to try other Indian black teas, since I’m so used to assam. Now I have two, and one of them is a decaf even. In the future, I must look for other new black teas… for science.
