“Tea. Earl Grey. Hot!”- standard order while watching Star Trek. A new blend I picked up as my winter sample. The scent is fantastic. Mostly chocolate, and mild citrus. There is a nice sweet cocoa flavour, which goes well with the bergamot. Pairs well with shortbread.

Flavors: Bergamot, Chocolate, Citrus, Cocoa

The unofficial sponsor of the month of October.

One of the first teas I bought for my new place. Birthday/ moving tea. There is a nice sweet fruit scent. The flavour is slightly tart with some berry notes.

Good for Autumn events, and pairs well with berry scones.

Flavors: Berry, Black Currant, Tart

November sample from the local shop. Because turkey tea would be weird. There is a nice scent of familiar spices. Mostly cinnamon, with cloves and nutmeg. The spices also come out in the flavour. Not much pumpkin, but makes a good fall blend.

Pairs well with pumpkin pie.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Nutmeg, Spices

November review…

My tea for late Autumn. There is a nice berry scent. The flavour is a little tart, with a slight sweetness. While mild, it does have a good cranberry taste. Liked the Korakundah base. Goes well with my cranberry bagels.

Flavors: Berry, Cranberry, Tart

Happy October! My favourite month, and the first full month of Autumn (the best season). This tea smells nicely like currants. The flavour is nicely fruity, with some floral notes. There is more of a green taste, but the currant is still pretty good.

Flavors: Black Currant, Floral, Fruity

Happy Autumn! My latest sample from the local shop. It has a nice mild vanilla scent. With a little sweetness. There is a mildly creamy vanilla flavour. Reminds me a little of pastries.

This is pretty fruity. While called pomegranate, that flavour is hidden. There is some berry and mostly cinnamon. And too much hibiscus.

Store sample. The spice scent was nice. And there is some pumpkin. There is too much going in the flavour though. It’s spice with chocolate and some caramels notes. It’s like having a pumpkin truffle. Overall, it’s alright.

A local company. I’d originally tried this at a festival in the spring. When brewed, I got a scent of rose and cardamon. The chocolate comes out more in the flavour, but I mostly get floral spice. There is some vanilla as well. Was good with muffins.

Flavors: Cacao, Cardamom, Floral, Rose

Inkling
