drank Strawberry Zabaglione by 52teas

A pretty decent tea. I’d never had zabaglione either, but imagine it must be really good. Very strawberry tasting. It was sweet on its own, I did not add any sugar but can only imagine how great that would be. I added a little milk, not that the tea needs any, it’s already kind of creamy, but I can use the calcium.

The tea blender for NM Tea Company must be a genius, every tea I’ve tried has been just right. Perfectly balanced bergamot and jasmine, a delicate green tea.

The scent is almost as good as Casablanca.

Drinking this straight because it needs no sugar and I think milk would ruin it. It’s vegetal but sweetened with hints of peach. It’s pretty good, even better than I expected. I think it could have stood another minute in steeping but it’s still really good.

drank Lime Chiffon by Della Terra Teas

I love this tea. It’s so good and sweet, didn’t need any sugar. Might try it with milk next time but it’s perfect as it is. Nice limey taste. Smells great. It’s been a while since I last had a lime-flavored drink, so busy pursuing bergamot I forget there are other citrus flavors.

I need to try the lemon chiffon.

I don’t think I like this tea. I tried it twice and I am still unsure. I might see if either of my sisters would like it, or put it up for a swap. I’m glad I only got one of those small pouches of this when I was in David’s Tea the other week.

It tastes like chocolate and bananas, something I normally would like. I added milk and a little sugar. It is drinkable, but not sure what it is I don’t like. It’s a very unattractive looking drink, has dark brown chocolate smudges floating on the surface. Maybe if i don’t look at it…

Out of milk so I picked out a tea I normally drink without milk. I have been using a digital meat thermometer which I think is much more accurate than the old-fashioned dial thermometer. Also using a timer on my cell phone (One of the few features on my cheap $8 tracfone). This tea is much better if you get the temp and time more exact than guessing at it. I am drinking this tea straight, no sugar at all, and am really enjoying it. Either the tea improved as it sat in the tin, my tastebuds have developed in the past 3 months, or the exactness of the brewing. Maybe it’s a combination of all three. Really nice blend of fruit/citrus/berry and tea.

I think I finally found a chai too hot for me. I’ll have to try these spices blended with a tea, maybe add a little vanilla.

I have grown very fond of cardamom. This tea is simply black tea and cardamom but it’s wonderful. Not quite a chai but has the cardamom spiciness. It’s amazing with milk and just a little sugar.
