Thank you to Teavivre for this sample!!
Delicious , slightly creamy and floral. I do catch a subtle amount of roastiness but it is moderate as the title says. There is also a cleansing astringency if you steep it longer. I thought three minutes was perfect and then I steeped the tea for one more minute and I wished I had stopped at three minutes but that’s why I like to taste at every minute when I am sampling so I learn!! :)
The aroma of this tea is smelling so lovely!!!!!!!!

I respect all the work that goes into preparing this beautiful tea! I love the luxuriously long leaves with their deep green color!!!!!!!!!
There is a light pea flavor and maybe potato and slight green bean flavor. It has a tiny hint of clover flower in the spring but an ever so tiny amount.
Thank you Teavivre for this gorgeous sample and will definitely be getting some of this tea in the future!!

I love the speckled color of the leaves. Beautiful Earth tones of cream, brown, moss, ash. Then after brewing, the leaves open up and present even more assorted color.
The liquor is a golden color with sweet Moscato wine scent & stewed fruits.
The flavor has malt, sorghum, cereal, touch of almond milk. There is no tannin or astringency and I like that about Oriental Beauty.
I have a beautiful purple Zisha Yixing for this tea that I am getting ready to season. I love it.
I love the legends about the Queen and the braggart farmer. I love the lower brew temperature. I love that the leaf hopper (tea jassid) gets to enjoy his breakfast and bite the leaves to add some of the particular flavors.
Everything about this tea is beauty and this one from Teavivre is very delicious!!

drank Jasmine Pearls by Steepster

I prepared this in tea ware that I could view the beautiful show of the pearls opening up and dancing to the bottom. The scent of the tea is just lovely jasmine all the way. You definitely must be in the mood for a floral type tea bc this is a real fragrant bouquet!!! I also taste a smooth touch of sweetness which is Lychee bc Lychee fruit is also a very floral tasting fruit.

I went into this tea thinking I would taste it and then get another cup of my usual tea bc floral tasting tea is probably lower down on my favorites list,,, but I have ended up drinking lots of this and in the morning too! So this one gets a good rating bc if you are in the mood for a floral tea, this is a very nice one to try!!!

This looks like coffee when brewed, the liquor is a dark brown color. The scent is smoky chocolate and so is the flavor! This is really good. It has a tiny tiny hint of pine in the finish and gives a bit of tannin.
The smoke gives essences of wood burning but it’s subtle. There is cream in the scent but not in the flavor. As it cools, a sweetness is coming thru like a blackstrap molasses. Very interesting procession of flavors, I liked it!

Dry leaf has scents of dried herbs, dried fruits.
Wet Leaf has some really tiny buds that almost look like rosemary needles. It has a leafy woodsy scent. Leaves are brownish-green color and some are chopped.
Liquor is golden color with a light scent of pineapple.
Flavor has a rich mouthfeel but not super rich in flavor. It is a light fruit flavor with some spice and herb to it. I like this.
