A very good tea. Then again, I’ve come to expect really good teas from Arbor Teas. Smooth, caramel-y (the caramel tones are light but delicious in this!) and I taste notes of fruit and flower. Warm and robust without bitterness.
This one is a good, strong tea that would work as that first cuppa of the day if you’re looking for one. I really like it.

I really liked this tisane … it was one of my favorite tisanes that I’ve received from my Amoda tea box. My only complaint is that more chocolate is always better, so I think that Naked Teas Galore should have added a couple of extra handfuls of the cocoa nibs to the tea as they were blending.
But then again, it was delicious as it was … nutty, sweet, delicious. I liked the way the apple and cinnamon gave it sort of a nutty, apple cider-y kind of taste.
Really tasty … needs more chocolate.

This is a really different tea. It has a strong smoky presence, as I would expect anything that has “Lapsang” in the name of it … but it’s not like a typical Chinese Lapsang Souchong. Instead, it is a Formosa Black tea (Taiwan) that has been prepared in the traditional Lapsang Souchong style, so it has the strong smoky presence, but the tea base is a little different.
It’s unique and unusual … but I like it!

It had been a while since I tried my last “Monk’s Blend” type of tea before brewing up a cup of this, so it took me a while to recognize this as what it was. This is tasty … I like that the base of this tea is not just a black tea base, but a blend of green and black teas. The green tea brings a crispness to the cup, a lighter flavor which helps to soften the sometimes astringent black tea.
It’s sort of bubblegum-y with it’s fruity notes. This one is plenty sweet without sweetener … it surprised me at just how sweet it was. My sweet tooth was quite happy with this cuppa!

I think I happened to see a forums discussion about creamy earl grey teas and a good replacement for the SpecialTeas product which is now long gone. This is one I’d recommend to you! This is a really, really good creamy Earl Grey.
Delicious creamy overtone, nice subdued bergamot (curbed by the sweet vanilla-y notes), but still a deliciously full-flavored cuppa.

Yeah, I’m still really behind. sigh I hope to get caught up one day!
Anyway … I received a packet of this chai mix in one of my Love With Food boxes … and I was happy to try it. David Rio is a company I’m familiar with because back when I was first starting out in the tea business (blending/selling … not reviewing!) I sampled quite a few of David Rio’s products as I did have some customers that expressed an interest in a chai mix rather than a loose leaf … and had I decided to ultimately offer a mix … I would have gone with the David Rio product because at the time, it was my favorite of the ones that I had tried. This was many years ago, and I’ve since had the opportunity to try some newer brands out there … but this is still pretty darned good for what it is.
However, I can say this … my taste buds seems to have … developed since the last time I had this because I used to like this a whole lot better than I do now. Either my taste buds have improved or the competition has improved (or perhaps … a little of both.) I used to love this stuff … but now I’m finding it just … OK. Drinkable … but not something that I’d keep stocked in my kitchen for everyday consumption … or even more than occasional consumption.
Good, not great … but I do like that David Rio is committed to a good cause (the welfare of animals.)

A really lovely Oolong … I really enjoy the Osmanthus Oolong teas because the natural peach-like flavors of the osamanthus accentuate the natural peach-y tones of the Oolong … they go together very nicely. This Osmanthus Oolong is sweet, creamy and dreamy!
I like that this is sweet but it doesn’t become cloying or too much for the palate. Lovely fruit tones. A nice creamy tone.

I love Darjeeling! And my favorites tend to be the 2nd Flush.
This is a really nice 2nd flush darjeeling. Notes of fruit, earth and a woody undertone. Sweet but not overly so. Wine-like. A very enjoyable darjeeling from a company that offers some of the finest darjeeling teas I’ve ever encountered.

I liked this one quite a bit. I liked that it’s a green rooibos blend as I tend to prefer green over red rooibos. I find the green rooibos to have more notable fruity tones, and this taste blends very nicely with the flavor of peach, strawberry and citrus.
A very refreshing, light beverage … this one is good over ice!
