Cran-Blackberry Rooibos from 52teas
72

Backlog:

I’ve had this twice now, I had some hot the other evening, and then, this afternoon, I decided to have it iced. We had some rather warm weather today and I thought I’d celebrate with a cup of iced tea! It was yummy.

But it was also TART! I needed to add a little bit of sugar to this to soften the tartness … I found that half a teaspoon of turbinado sugar helped curb the tartness just enough for me. When it cools, the tartness subsides a little.

Aside from the tartness, though, there is a lovely fruit flavor to this. I love the combination of cranberry and blackberry. They go together well. If you can look beyond tartness, this really is a decent combination with the rooibos.

I will need to try sugaring mine up a bit. I agree it is quite tart.

When I logged on the other day and read that King review, I was wondering where was 52teas in all this? Sure enough, always right here. Your favorite.

This makes me think of one of my kind of friend, who is programmer at a university and she took her family to South Africa on vacation; land of Rooibos. I do not think they brought back any. Since I am not employed, she only frequents with like mindedness folks; homeowners and rearing children. As sameness to understanding plight.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination.

I don’t do a whole lot of swaps anymore, however, I do occasionally sell sampler boxes here: http://liberteas.teatra.de/ I don’t always have sampler boxes available as it depends upon how much time I have as well as packaging supplies. I usually post at least one or two sampler boxes per month, though, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out or PM me and I’ll let you know when I have some posted.

Most of the teas that I record in my notes here are going to have a fairly high rating from me. This is not because I am not discerning, but because I do not usually waste my time on drinking tea I do not care for, nor will I waste my time on writing about it.
