I found my butterbeer! My daughter had it (and drank most of it) but she did save me enough to make one more pot. If I didn’t have so much tea to keep me busy, I might have been upset, but, I’m just glad that she too is enjoying tea after so many years of trying to rebel against her mother by disliking everything that I liked.
Mmm… this is really good. A little bit rootbeer-ish, but with a touch of buttery goodness. Rich and flavorful. A hint of licorice-y taste.
I love this tea… and not just because I was the one who offered the idea for it. :)

It IS nice when our teen daughter’s stop rebelling and realize we are not only right about something but pretty cool moms too :)
Yes, it is. She used to say that she wished I was more like her best friend’s mom (well, her best friend at the time, they are no longer friends) … because her mom was so cool. But, this former friend of hers did not graduate from high school and has had numerous problems. My daughter not only graduated but is now in a career (not a job) because she’s been working hard to get the right education. She sees the difference now, and she actually thanks me for not being the way her friend’s mom was … for actually caring and being strict! All the hard work paid off.
Oh ladies I am just starting out. My daughter just started Kindergarten and so the journey begins. She has 2 years of preschool but that just isn’t the same. I am already getting used to being unpopular and I have told by her on numerous occasions that I am wrong and she is right. Only 15 or so years to go right?

Woot! Woot! You’re a great mom!

Right. My daughter is a senior this year. Sigh. She says I am the best and coolest mom out of all her friend’s moms, but usually I am still a little “stupid” I think. Lol
Since starting this tea phase however, I have gained a few more cool points!! Lol
