On the first day of Christmas … Della Terra Teas sent me this tea!

This is really tasty. I brews up really light in color, I was a little worried that it wouldn’t be very flavorful, but, I guess it just goes to show you that you shouldn’t use color as a determining factor on whether a tea is finished brewing or on whether a tea is going to be flavorful.

The pear is nicely done. Sweet. The spices are gentle, and the black tea, while it is a softer flavor than a typical black tea (even a typical flavored black tea), I am finding it to be just right for this blend. A stronger tea would have overwhelmed the pear. As it is, there’s a really nice balance.

LiberTeas your reviews last year inspired me to get this 12 days this year and I am glad I did! I love this tea, I wish DT would sell it on its own since I’m always on the hunt for good pear teas. I’ve been using this one in combination with 52teas 12 days sampler as an advent calendar since the beginning of December!

LiberTEAS

That’s a cool idea (advent calendar) … contact DTT because I think that if you bought the box, that they might sell the tea to you. I think that the exclusive teas in the sampler are available to those that have purchased the box. At least that’s what I was lead to understand last year. That could have changed, but I’d contact them.

Yes I have been alternating each day! I have been enjoying DTT’s the most but that’s more because I’ve had most of the really standout blends in 52teas before.

The reason I’m no longer writing for SororiTea Sisters is because I am now the Mad Tea Artist for 52Teas:

I’ll still be posting occasional reviews on teas here on Steepster, mostly backlogged reviews because I’m way behind on getting reviews posted. That’s why I’m keeping two accounts active at the current time – so that I can get those backlogged reviews posted.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination, which is why I was very excited to be the Mad Tea Artist of 52Teas!
