Apple Matcha from 52teas
91

I needed a little bit of an energy boost, since I’m about to grill some steaks, so I thought, Matcha!

I didn’t necessarily have apple Matcha in mind… just took the top pouch on the stack that I have over on my tea cart and it was the apple.

I am really liking this a lot today. I added a sprinkling of cinnamon to it after whisking it, and then whisked it again real quick… and it is AMAZING with the cinnamon. It tastes like I made my Matcha with apple cider.

YUM!

Cinnamon sugar w/ milk or coffee creamer? Could be yummy.

I didn’t add milk, and I don’t even keep coffee creamer in the house (that’s for coffee). But it’s quite good with just cinnamon! Might try it next time with some nutmeg.

I actually add coffee creamer often to chais, chocolate, and caramel teas. It’s a great substitute for milk and allows you to add another layer of flavor, if you wish, that milk can’t give you. Even if I didn’t drink coffee and inspite of my love of Smart Balance milk, I’d keep creamer in the house.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination.

I don’t do a whole lot of swaps anymore, however, I do occasionally sell sampler boxes here: http://liberteas.teatra.de/ I don’t always have sampler boxes available as it depends upon how much time I have as well as packaging supplies. I usually post at least one or two sampler boxes per month, though, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out or PM me and I’ll let you know when I have some posted.

Most of the teas that I record in my notes here are going to have a fairly high rating from me. This is not because I am not discerning, but because I do not usually waste my time on drinking tea I do not care for, nor will I waste my time on writing about it.
