drank Earl Grey by Tea Forte

I am revisiting this Earl Grey. This particular cup comes from the organics collection, and it is a bagged tea – but not the pyramid sachet for which Tea Forté is probably best known. This one was in their newer eco-bags which are unbleached, conventional style tea bags, but instead of the staple on the top of the bag, it is knotted.

Interestingly enough, I am finding this even better than my previous experiences with the Earl Grey from Tea Forté, and I’m not sure if that has anything to do with the way it is bagged, or if it has something more to do with the fact that these eco-teabags are sealed in a foil pouch versus the origami-ish, folded pyramid paper. I suspect it is the latter, because of the freshness factor.

Anyway, this is a delicious bagged Earl Grey: bold, rich and flavorful. A good level of bergamot. Enjoying this immensely.

Seeing the mentioning of Earl Grey is reminding me to add to list for purchase. I do have The London Cuppa to place of the good Earl. I am just saying my next morning cup will the Cuppa robust for a bustling morning.

My favorite teas are Yellow Teas with most Oolong teas at a close second. As far as “flavored” teas go, I love Earl Grey, Chocolate and Jasmine teas.

I also am intrigued by flavored teas with an unusual or unique flavor combination.

I don’t do a whole lot of swaps anymore, however, I do occasionally sell sampler boxes here: http://liberteas.teatra.de/ I don’t always have sampler boxes available as it depends upon how much time I have as well as packaging supplies. I usually post at least one or two sampler boxes per month, though, so if you’re interested, keep an eye out or PM me and I’ll let you know when I have some posted.

Most of the teas that I record in my notes here are going to have a fairly high rating from me. This is not because I am not discerning, but because I do not usually waste my time on drinking tea I do not care for, nor will I waste my time on writing about it.
