malty, strong black tea flavor. your typical black tea. though, it is making me feel really jittery and anxious- like i do when i have coffee. how strange.

giving this a low rating for the coffee-nervous feeling =[. I’m not a fan of feeling jittery.

very nutty, grassy with a hint of sweetness. a really comforting cup to drink on a morning when it is icing and snowing out.

i don’t have too much loose leaf tea left, i haven’t gotten around to buying it yet =[ and this is one of the only ones i have left. but as always, it’s a delicious cuppa!

really really floral tea. but floral in a good way. The scent of jasmine hits you in the face when you open the tin, but after having a few sips of the tea, that ‘in your face’ jasmine quality calms down and nicely pairs with the green tea.

i had a bit of an oven mishap this morning while baking a raspberry chocolate ganache tart (smoke alarm went off 3 times, ahh! ) so this tea is exactly what i needed to get my head back in the game. Dark, cocoa-y, and pleasantly earthy makes for a good cuppa this afternoon.

Did the tart make it or was it DOA? :D

LissaMarie

it made it, thankfully! I spilled some chocolate in the oven without realizing and it wound up burning, yikes! It happens, right? haha

Jillian

Yeah something similar happened to me when I was baking cookies at Christmas – only instead of chocolate it was oil from the boyfriend’s pizza from the night before.
