Raisiny/deep cherry/cranberry/brandy scent to those gorgeous tippy brown leaves, mondo caffeine, gentle but stimulatng Assam maltiness and depth. He’s a soft soul, this captain, for all his brawn. Gorgeous dark copper-light brown liquor, perfectly translucent. No bitterness. Some pucker to the finish if you steep over 4 minutes. Bliss.
