Day 15 of my Advent Calendar
Another tea i’ve been meaning to try
Dry leaves smell like bergamot and vanilla steeped it smells like bergamot and black tea the liqueuer is the color of pancake syrup.
Time to taste: Bergamot, Black tea and a smooth finish from the vanilla
I really like it! gonna add this to my shopping list
Day 14 of my Advent calendar
This is a yummy treat, the vanilla reminds me of baked goods.

Day 13 on my advent calendar
Decided to sweeten this with an agave stick to see what would happen and i have to say i’m liking this tea a lot more sweetened.

Day 12 on my advent calendar
Keeping this rating as is this is a yummy tea and the booziness feel is perfect for the holidays!

Day 11 on my advent calendar
This is a nice surprise i’ve not tried many of the straight teas david’s has to offer so i am kind of looking forward to this.
Dry leaves smell very vegetal, steeped the liqueur has a lemon limey color and the smell reminds me of the milk oolong which i love, so i’m getting hopeful about this tea.
time to taste: bitter…i knew the water was too hot but darn i was excited… ok i’m not rating this and gonna give it another go
Day 10 on my advent calendar.
I’m not changing the rating on this tea I still find it very underwhelming.
See previous notes…
Got this as a sample in my recent order,
the leaves smell like nuts, almonds mostly
The liqueur is a nice lemon color and smells like a chocolate duncan hines cake while its baking in the oven… i know specific smell but it gave me a flashback of sitting in front of the oven door watching my mom’s cake bake.
time to taste: first sip … cocoa and tea, it tastes a lot like it smells again like a duncan hines chocolate cake… i really like this i think i’m gonna add this to my shopping list.
Day 9 on my Advent Calendar
This is another tea i’ve been meaning to try happy to see it in the calendar.
dry leaves i mostly smell mint and i’m also picking up the fennel from the seeds.
liqueur is a nice dark caramel color and smells like peppery mint
Time to taste: mint and the fennel licorice and then it leaves a nice sweet note on the tongue, very refreshing! and very christmassy to me as we usually have fennel on the table to munch on while we play cards.
needed something comforting this morning, dropped the munchkin off for her last day at daycare, she starts preschool next week. anyway i was bawling… will most likely be much worst tonight when she has to say good bye to everyone for the last time…welling up just thinking about this…
this tea will help comfort you whatever your problems and save you from yourself and that box of chocolates you were gonna drown your sorrows in
Another back from the dead tea!
the dry leaves smell like a buttery croissant very comforting this is promissing…
steeped it smella like a raspbery danish, yumm.. the liqueur has a nice redish tint.
Time to Taste: buttery, rich black tea and a little tartness from the raspberries i like it!
Day 8 of my Advent Calendar
Delicious as always, took this one down pretty fast…
see previous notes…
Another Christmas tea!
in the bag this smells like forever nuts and cinnamon.
steeped this smells like forever nuts and cinnamon sugar.
the liqueur is very nice though looks like holiday punch.
Time to taste: bitter but not unpleasant, then i get cinnamon and salt?!?
this is OK as a tea not my fave… probably won’t replenish on this, looks and smells pretty though
i have been wanting to try this for so long but it was discontinued and now it’s back from the dead!
this is so cute in the bag the little orange sprinkle and the black cats smells fruity.
steeped it smells like candy! and the liqueur is the color of swamp water. my coworkers are giving me the “what is that!” look…
time to taste: sweet, fruity but not overwhelming and a little nutty there at the end i like this but don’t know if i’ll reorder i have 50g of this it should last me a while something to drink when i’m feeling nutty!
Dear Santa,
For Christmas this year i would like 250g. of your secret tea, oh and well maybe a breville one touch tea brewer too…
i’ll leave you a cup of this by the chimney!
see previous notes….
this is a perfect winter treat. smells so good that my two co-workers that are die-hard coffee drinkers asked me to make them a cup of this.
chocolate but not too sweet with a fiery finish that warms you up inside and out.
this is what i imagine the hot chocolate from the movie chocolat tastes like, all i’m missing now is for Johnny Depp to show up and fix my door… a girl can dream can’t she?
i needed something zen to get me through my afternoon and this is exactly what i needed.
this is definitely my favorite of the christmas teas, it’s bringing out memories of me amd my family hanging around playing cards munching on pannetone and mandarins.
Day 7 of my advent calendar.
I love this tea! this was the first ever David’s tea i ever tasted and bought, that was the beginning of a very expensive addiction…
this brings back memories and reminds me that i have to go refill my tin…
Love love love this tea!
Sweet summer strawberries and once you finish your sip you can feel a light burn on your tongue that makes you want to go for more.
this is a deliciously refreshing tea good job David’s Tea!
I needed something comforting after i broke my glass tea bottle…
This is sweet and is doing the trick!
Day 6 of my Advent Calendar.
Yet another tea I’ve been meaning to try but just haven’t gotten around to.
I like it, i can definitely see myself reaching for this after a night of partying.
might go to the store and pick up 25g to have for new years day!
oversteeped totally bitter, my fault will try again.
HI there, I’m a 20 something csr rep. with a sensitive pallet and a love for anything that tastes good.
I’m fairly new to tea, a year ago i was a die hard coffee drinker, and then i got a free glass tea bottle and some blooming tea for christmas….that was the beginning of a new found obsession!
Forget flavored Coffee and all the milk and sugar i had to add to make it drinkable! now i have tea that i can drink straight up without all those extra calories!
I work about 5 minutes away from the David’s Tea head office, so you’ll notice that i mostly review those but i will try and trade with others so that i can get a taste of what else is out there!
Do not hesitate to PM me to discuss trades!
anyway that’s it for me, myself and I.
