Rich and varied flavours are overpowered by it’s incredible bitterness when brewed to any typical method. Varied temperature, steeping time and filtered water still result in a palatable astringent tang after the first sip.

Bio

I’m a bit of a heavy tea drinker, but generally prefer simple British blends with loose leaf teas as a more relaxing treat throughout the day.

I’m not too experienced with many teas, and I’m terrible at picking out ingredients within teas. But I generally enjoy pretty much all black teas, and will try pretty much everything darker than rooibos.

I drink around 10-30 cups of tea a day. Leave at least two or three to go cold through forgetfulness, and spend far too long deliberating in the tea aisle.

I detest overly flavoured teas, green teas, or sweetened blends.
