132 Tasting Notes
This is delicious. Very unique blend. You honestly have to try it to understand! Thank-you to whoever sent me this sample a few months ago. It was in a foil silver zip closure sample bag. Thanks for sharing! I love this tea.
This is a very unique and delicious tea. I had given a co-worker my tea catalog from Simpson & Vail and this was part of her order. I’m so glad she got this one. I actually added a little cream and sugar to this and it was very very good. I don’t usually do that with fruity/floral teas but yum.
It is hard to find the right Jasmine. Sometimes it can taste too artificial or it is tricky to get the right temp and time for each leaf. I was really pleased with these little pearls. Light yet fragrant. Natural and not bitter. I don’t usually drink floral green teas in the morning but I think I’m already pretty WIDE awake today. haha. Maybe save black tea for lunch.
One of the best “coffee teas” that I have had. The tea dry has a great coffee smell but once you steep it, the wet tea smells kind of spicy. Yet the taste is really delicious. I used cream and sugar for the latte effect. Thanks to UTOPIA TEA for the sample.
Hey Everybody, I’ve been MIA lately. I’ve had so many good teas from swaps. I really should have kept track of them better to post on here. I’m working through my stash and I’ve had a few sipdowns and I still have SO MUCH tea. haha.
Anyhow, I made a Laoshan Black latte today. It was delicious. I used cream and a little brown sugar. This is still one of my favorite teas. Hope everyone is doing good and when work slows down, I’m hoping to update more frequently again. :-)
Its been a few days since I’ve been able to post. Just so busy!
This graveyard mist is awesome. Great blend of marshmellow and spearmint. It really hits the spot. Thanks Ellyn for sending this one over to me :-)
I’ve been so busy and not able to write notes lately but I just had to write about this one.
First off, THANK-YOU Nina’s Paris for the generous samples. All the samples have been wonderful.
I don’t have a lot of experience with flavored Genmaichas but WOW this is good. I added a little extra sweeter for a sweeter treat. This has such a great toasty fragrance with caramel undertones. Definitely worth trying.
Holy perfume! Wow, this one is very strong. Has a french inspired way about it. Strong rose floral tones and a nutty almond flavor as well. This was one of the samples my co-worker brought in. Glad to try it, would’t add to my cupboard permanently though. If you like rose teas, this one is definitely a strong one.
This may be my favorite flavored black tea! Wow this is a nice cup of tea. Thank-you Ashmanra for sending over a sample, so I could finally try it!
Vanilla, Almond, and a little spice (& liquor) flavors thrown in. Absolutely delicious. After i get my samples under control, I will definitely order a tin of this.
Got to share this with friends today who don’t really drink loose tea. They looked like they were going to fall over. It was fun to introduce them to something new. Never disappointed with this tea.
