This was nice. It didn’t knock my socks off (hehe, autocorrect made that “knock my woks off” and I think I like that better) but I won’t have any trouble drinking it down.
I think what I like most about green rooibos is that it doesn’t really taste like much, so it serves as a medium for the flavors but doesn’t compete with them. I can drink what I’m drinking without thinking of mulch with every drink. So, I think from here on out I will stay away from red rooibos in favor of green. Thankfully it seems to be more common all the time.
As far as the way this tasted, I had it hot and it just tasted like something citrusy. I could see it being good cold, but here’s my problem. I keep thinking I should cold brew all of these herbal teas, then the next day all I want is teas with caffeine so I can’t make myself drink them.

Autocorrect is crazy isn’t it? Sometimes it changes it to something so weird. I love “knock my woks off”. Maybe we will have to use that to describe our teas.
I keep two pitchers of cold brew in the refrigerator – one decaf/herbal, the other caffeine. I’ve put the little chalkboard labels on the pitchers so I can label them with chalk and then erase it, because I also forget what I made. I use the Takeya pitchers http://www.takeyausa.com/c-4-pitchers-carafes.aspx because they don’t take up much space. The infuser basket is big so the tea has plenty of room. We found these pitchers at Costco, a package of two for $26.

Autocorrect hates it when I type Chinese and Japanese tea names…especially on my phone!
This morning I typed shampoop and it didn’t correct that!
