I went a little light on this one, using 5.8g in a 100mL gaiwan. This tea wasn’t totally enjoyable, but I’m fairly certain it will get better. The first 3 steeps had pretty distinct sour notes, which slowly faded from steeps 4-5. Other than this acidic sourness, I tasted some sweet vegetal flavors, and an almost creamy texture/taste. I also detected some fruity and floral notes, perhaps of a citrus nature. The tea was pleasantly thick from steeps 3-7 or so. I liked this one, but will probably wait for a while to try it again to see if the sourness goes down. Once it does, this will probably be a pretty great tea.

I was going to rip into mine but at mrmopar’s advice, am practicing patience and putting this up to rest and mature. Since I already have so much tea I need another room for it, I think the waiting will not affect either myself or the tea adversely.
I put this one in the pumidor for a few weeks. It may still need some time to settle.

Yea I’ll come back to this one in a bit. I was prepared for it to be sub-par, so not a great and horrible surprise or anything :)
