Mel drank Rainforest by The Republic of Tea

I bought this on a whim while I was on vacation in Iowa. Yes, vacationing in Iowa. I haven’t been the biggest fan of teas that were more spice than tea. This is definitely one of those. So instead of brewing it naked, I brewed it in local apple cider. This was fantastic. It paired well, perfect for spiced cider. If I do brew this naked, I will add black tea or jamaica flowers. It’s a good base.

Yep! I can’t believe I used to buy powdered spice for cider. Cider and spiced teas are so yummy.

…how have I never thought of this? Looks like I’ve got plans with my gallon of cider and a few overly-spiced teas today.

I think most the teas I drink are 80% iced, but on some days, it’s opposite that, especially days off! I can’t believe it took me this long to try different teas. Better now than never!
