335 Tasting Notes
I never had green rooibush tea before. I drank this tea iced, and it’s naturally sweet, which I love! It’s quite lovely, and I am very impressed by it. I really can’t compare it to another tea, it’s just nice for variety. The peach flavor isn’t overpowering.
Preparation
I had this tea as a sample in the store, and fell in love. The flavor is so SUMMER AND BRIGHT!!! I had a warm in the store, and I knew it was destined to be amazing iced, and it is! The black tea base is so robust and thick on the tongue. On the packaging, it says it’s South Indian black tea. I really love the creamy taste of it, too. I think I like this better than their green coconut! I see myself buying this over and over!!!
Preparation
The price is hard to pass, I forgot how much I paid, but it was a great price for Ti Kuan Yin. It’s doesn’t have the depth as the teas with a heftier price tag. But drinkable. A little musky, golden brew. I don’t think I would buy, but it’s still good. If you are in a pinch, makes a good iced tea.
I feel this black tea is very astringent, I never use boiling water to brew. It’s a good cream earl grey. I was spoiled by having another, so I compared it to that. I drank it with rice milk and sugar. Very tasty treat. Served it over ice, too. Though I feel I need sugar with it, so I won’t drink it much.
Preparation
I’m not a ginger fan when it’s by itself, like fish sauce. So I knew I wouldn’t like this tea much. Still gave it a chance. Underneath the ginger flavor, the white tea was just ok. Just not inlove with it. Not bothering to rebrew…
Preparation
This is the second Nepal tea I have had, and I love it! Very rich tasting, love the mouth feel. I only drank my sample hot, but would make an excellent iced tea. I will have to put this on my shopping list. Excellent black tea, smooth as silk! It has Darjeeling like qualities, with the lovely honey smell and taste. Nom!
Preparation
Very light tea. Rebrews 3 times. It has a nice sweetness. Not as complex as I usually like, just straightforward tasting. I used up my whole sample, I might have liked the boiling brewing, since I think the warm water method didn’t make it strong enough for my tastebuds. It has a white tea lightness.
