335 Tasting Notes
I finally found this tea I got from a swap with loupea. I brought this to work, and it was mellow and rich. This is some dark tea, too. Once it cooled a little, it becomes tastier. I would consider buying this for work, excellent bagged tea. I really enjoyed this tea.
Preparation
Not going to lie, I bought this tea for the name. I love me some Prince! When I bought and smelled it at the store, I didn’t realize it was grape. I read the ingreidents, and thought it sounded good. If I knew it was suppose to be grape, I probably wouldn’t have bought it.
Anyways, I tried it iced. Before I sipped it, I could taste grape! I was hoping for the other dried fruit to come out, but it didn’t. It is naturally sweet, no sugar needed for this one. I did like the sencha in this, too, like Sarah. If the flavoring wasn’t grape, but cranberry or raspberry, I would love this tea. Being grape, it’s just ok. If you love Concord grape, this tea has it!
Preparation
Summertime! That’s what this tea is perfect for. I am surprised by how tasty this is. I often had it as a sample at the store. My friend sent me some. It’s mixed with Lemon Youku. I added a little sugar, drank it iced…real blissful. I bet it would be equally good warm, though it’s perfect iced. I loved the raspberry flavor, tasted creamy to me.
Preparation
I just figured out, from googling the ingredients of the tea, that this is White Acai Luminesence by SpecialTeas. http://steepster.com/teas/specialteas/10638-white-acai-luminesence?post=68442
I still love this tea…even though SpecialTeas has decided to go and leave me.
Preparation
I finally opened my tin of this this week. I bought this on a whim at Whole Foods.
I love the flavor when it cools down for 5 minutes, that’s perfection. I love the aftertaste. It’s an interesting taste, can’t really compare it to another green tea though it fits the genre. I get a roasted corn aftertaste, too. Interesting and lovely. Worth a try, for sure.
Preparation
When I opened the lid to the brewed tea, it smelled like a huge cigar. I was surprised how much this smelled like tobacco!
This is my first experience with yellow tea and DF. It has a strong flavor for such a light brew. I am just not a fan of it. It has a smoky like flavor. It does have a sweetness to it. It reminds me of pine nuts, which I don’t like.
I just couldn’t down the cup! I think for me, to enjoy this tea, I would need to be in a certain mood. I just didn’t like it.
Preparation
This is the first time where someone’s description for a sub-20 rating actually sounds appealing to me. I’ve only had a yellow tea once before and it was disappointing as well, but that was because it had no character at all. This sounds interesting but I like smokey and nutty.
Yeah, I just hate smoky teas, I love smoked meats. I can send you the rest of it, it’s like maybe 20 grams. I know I won’t drink it, rather give it to someone else who might like it!
Got this as a sample. I couldn’t taste much apple, almonds, or even cinnamon, extremely weak. teaplz pretty much sums it up, all smell, no flavor! Though the blend of green and black was nice, it supposes to taste like a baked apple? It doesn’t, not even close to it.
Preparation
Um…YUM!!! Thank you Doulton for a wonderful sample. I brewed this with some sugar, half & half, honey, and vanilla bean paste in a big mug. I am not into brewing teas flavored as such naked. The spice in it blends so well with the kiss of carrot and alittle nut. The rooibos is great in this, too.
I have been gluten free for awhile, and this is a great way to please my gluten cravings. Not a everyday tea for me, like I couldn’t eat a piece of carrot cake everyday!
