A warm cup of respite from the cold, harsh world.
I had been meaning to try this tea from the moment it came out, but whenever I was in Teaopia something else appeared to take its place. Namely, Mateccino and Creamy Nut Oolong. The Teaopia 30% off sale gave me the final push I needed to add this gem to my tea cupboard. I was skeptical, but Baked Apple Pie does not disappoint.
I left the tea to steep for 5 min while I spent that time cutting my finger with the food processor blade. I bled. I cursed. I bled. I cursed some more. Then the tea rang and I was transported into a happy, smiley place (like the green face on the right of Steepster’s rating bar). The oolong, cinnamon, nuts, apples, and raisins all come through to create the perfect cup of happy. The ingredient list sounds like a recipe for apple pie and the tea definitely has a very good apple pie flavor. This is definitely my new favorite Teaopia tea, and possibly my favorite tea ever. I just hope I can get it when Teavana takes over.
