T&C TTB 13/23

I had this tea a few nights ago when all the computers in my house decided not to like Steepsters, every other website worked. I finally have everything packed and ready to ship tomorrow morning for the T&C TTB I just need to catch up on here.

The tea, the tea was lovely and tasted like Spring flowers. The recommended steep time I was given was very short, less than a minute. I’m glad I followed it, the flower taste was not over powering or bitter.

T&C TTB 12/23

Creamy light flavor of coffee and chocolate.Easy to drink but I’m still on the fence on how I feel about oolong. I figured this was a good time to try one or two. I’m glad I got to try this; it’s been years since I had tiramisu so just the idea of having tea flavored tiramisu was fun!

T&C TTB 11/23

I first made this as a latte with a pump of cheesecake syrup. I thought it was a genius idea until I tried it, something was not right. I think next time I will try it with a strait Earl. I also tried this hot and the memories of the cheesecake latte came back so I decided to wait a few days. Today I made it iced and truly enjoyed it, I got mostly creamy vanilla. I look forward to trying other EGC iced this summer.

T&C TTB 10/23

Oh my, this is good :) This is definitely part of the equation that made The Jolly Earl so delicious. I’m not able to place the right words for this just yet. I am getting the sweet potato and cinnamon. It is definitely not my normal thought on straight blacks “taste like hot iced tea” there is definitely more to this one.

T&C TTB 9/23

Taste like sweet cinnamony apple pie filling but maybe more like apple cider.
I drank about ¾ of the cup when I realized my husband might like this so I added a little sugar and he loved it. Success! This is the first non-chai tea my husband has liked not counting super sweet black iced tea.

T&C TTB 8/23

I cold brewed this tea, it’s good. I mostly notice the pineapple and strawberry, both of which I love. The fruit flavors don’t over power the green tea either. I added simple syrup to see what my husband thought, he didn’t care for it. So I finished drinking it, with it sweetened I got more papaya.

T&C TTB 7/23

It has a nice cherry flavor, I was ready to put sugar expecting it to be sour enough that I would need it because of the sour cherry in it but I didn’t. It was lightest sour that only complemented the flavor. I don’t understand why they needed to put rooibos in it. Well I guess I do, in the description it says for health benefits. I think if I added sugar the taste of rooibos would not be as strong.

T&C TTB 6/23
I really messed this one up, I over steeped it 30+min and then decided to ice it. I at least got enough of a nice spearmint taste that next time when brewed correctly I have no doubt I will like it.

Thank you carol who for sharing this! I have been curious about it since I love mint and like gunpowder. I think I will pick some up the next time I’m at the Whole Foods that carries it.

T&C TTB 5/23

Thanks bluebelle for sharing this wonderful vanilla tea. I could see the cut up pieces of vanilla bean mixed with the black leaf. I brewed this up expecting it to just be an ordinary vanilla tea but it is not. It tasted nice without milk but with milk, decadent. Like bluebelle said it was like drinking a rich delicious custard.

T&C TTB 4/23

I like unflavored black tea but I still have a hard time picking out and describing the different notes. If you told me a year ago I would be drinking hot black tea I would have told you “Your crazy black tea is for iced tea”. With that said I enjoyed this cup of black tea that for now until my palate improves, taste like naturally sweet iced tea but hot.
