Am I missing something here? PG Tips scores so well amongst you lot and I can’t stand the stuff. In fact, I bought some Yorkshire, Hampstead and Teapigs for friends that still have this rubbish in their cupboards. I hope they have now seen the light.
Completely agree. I can’t see why it is so popular on here. I actually find it makes a bit of a change sometimes because it tastes different to the other standard teas, but I certainly wouldn’t buy any of it, it’s much more bitter than anything else, and it’s so hard to brew because in those pyramid bags, it brews in only a couple of seconds.
I haven’t had any Hampstead tea, but I like Teapigs and Yorkshire – must look up Hampstead and see what I’m missing…
Well I like their Ginger Green in the morning. A bit of zing and a detox. The ginger tastes very fresh, unlike a Twinings version which was just a bag of chemical flavours…

Tea maniac, potty about all things to do with tea. An adventurous type, I’m known to like a little experimentation when it comes to my leaves. I’m also a keen traveler and really enjoyed zouhourat in Syria, ginger chai in India and honeybush in South Africa. Then again, I never say no to a mug of British builders brew!
