Steep 2: PERFECT. 4 minutes with used stuff, and this is amazing. I preemptively put a whole teaspoon of honey in it, which wasn’t really needed. The vanilla has toned down so it’s less of a punch in the face, and the almond and chicory are blending really well.

I think I need to do a shorter initial steep, then plan on resteeping the “leaves” a few times in an evening.

(I’ve mostly stopped reviewing teas here, and also mostly stopped drinking tea. :( )

Black teas are my favourite, although I do drink the occasional green tea. I am exploring herbal and fruity teas for summer icing and winter evenings, and oolong and pu erh are new and exciting… although I do not like a tea that tastes mostly of seaweed.

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
