In anticipation of more matcha samples from CrowKettle and a post about this matcha by ShayneBear, I decided to make myself a matcha latte.

Yum. I do add sugar, but I also use unsweetened almond milk to make my tea lattes. So, about 1/2 to 1 tsp of matcha powder, 1 tsp sugar, 250ml hot almond milk, and a couple tablespoons of hot water to dissolve and froth the matcha powder in.

(I’ve mostly stopped reviewing teas here, and also mostly stopped drinking tea. :( )

Black teas are my favourite, although I do drink the occasional green tea. I am exploring herbal and fruity teas for summer icing and winter evenings, and oolong and pu erh are new and exciting… although I do not like a tea that tastes mostly of seaweed.

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
