Another surprise tester in the order. Yay!
Since the cider guayusa I had earlier seemed to increase anxiety (boo!) I thought I’d relax with some herbals tonight. This one smells SO good, so I searched their facebook page to see what was in it. There’s no caffeine, so I was good to go!
It’s really quite delicate, sweet, I can definitely taste the cake. This really isn’t anything like the Birthday Cake found at DavidsTea. This one has no added sugary bits, and is so much lighter in flavour and feel. This one I’d sip plain after a heavy meal (and I just had pizza toasts, so this is perfect) while DavidsTea’s is one I drink as a dessert.
I can hardly wait till this tea is posted to their website so I can find out what else is in it. This is another tea I’d seriously consider purchasing, and I’d be more likely to drink this one than a green tea (although With Open Eyes is pretty darn incredible).

I can tell you that. There is a Marshmallow Leaf base with Calendula, Safflower, Cornflowers & Organic Natural Flavoring. I’m not quite sure if what you have is what we will be going with. I might do another round of flavoring, since it came out a bit more flavorful in the smaller batch that I had first made. We didn’t add any sprinkles since it seems that many of our customers prefer the option to have teas & herbals without sugar. I will say that it is very decadent with a bit of sugar. The flavor becomes very strong.
Thanks! I was having fun taking photos today!
I have a couple mouthfuls left, so let’s see. Ok, it’s also really good with a little sugar. I think I’d be more likely to drink it plain, but it’s nice to have options. :)
The colour is pretty hilarious, BTW. Normally I drink teas out of dark mugs, so the bright yellow in the white teacup was a bit of a surprise!
Thank god this tastes nothing like davids birthday cake…not that I was worried since Stacy’s blends are usually on the lighter, more realistic side…

P.S. All of your pics are pretty awesome!

So want this one too!

LOL! It’s not rooibos, which I really REALLY appreciate, since I have a weird love-hate relationship with that stuff.
