Another tea I have a bunch of thanks to Cavocorax, and another tea I’m GLAD I have a bunch of!
I’m sipping this hot this evening, and put the used bag into the fridge to cold brew overnight. I think I like the H&S tea bags in 16 oz water, but I do a bit more or less depending on which mug I grab.
The leaves didn’t fully unfurl during the hot steep. The scent is sweet berry – my BFF said it was raspberry, but I’d call it raspberry/thimbleberry/currant/pomegranate-ish. You know. Red berry.
It’s a little green tasting, but that’s possibly because I used the wrong temp water. I estimated it to be 180F, but without the thermometer, who knows. The berry flavour is a little sweet, and a lot delicious. It’s almost like the Nana’s Fruit Garden tea I like so much.
And I’ve run out of brain. So I’ll go back to watching the cupcakes cool (I made 2 dozen for work, and have almost a dozen, umm, ‘left over’, for me. Muahahaha.) and thinking about making some fresh cherry frosting. IDK.

Ok, the cupcakes are awesome. Cherries + icing sugar + a little milky stuff (almond milk today) = awesome frosting. Works well with strawberries if you have them. :)
awwww. i have no dessert. maybe it’s time to try my pumpkin creme brulee sample from stacy. hmm, decisions, decisions….
Ooh, I liked that one a lot more than the plum pudding. It’s tempting, but it’s late and I still have half a cup of lukewarm this tea. :)
I mean, making a cup of each and analyzing them is tempting. Well. Anything tea related (pretty much) is tempting, but… :)
i don’t mind a squished cupcake, btw, in the event that are taken by a voracious need to put one in an envelope and mail it. =0D
