It must be the goji berries that are all chunky and coated with stuff in my bag.
This tea is much more of a sweet cinnamon, but that’s not due to the cinnamon – it’s because of the tulsi. Tulsi is really sweet and herby, with a mint/basil taste (that I love). The spicy cinnamon Verdant uses tastes so good with it.
I can’t pick out the goji berry taste OR the puerh at all. I mean, I know there’s tea in here due to the colour in my cup, but it just lends a depth of flavour. I’m sure if I had the puerh separately at any point I’d be able to identify it, but here it blends pretty much seamlessly.
I don’t like this one as much as the Vanilla Citrus Spice (so far), but it’s still lovely and I really like the tulsi. I’ll be resteeping this one this morning. I hope the puerh takes over at some point!
