drank Champagne Cider by Butiki Teas
2291 tasting notes

I totally forgot I had this tea, as it was in a mis-labeled tin. But once I opened and sniffed, I knew I had to drink it!

SO GOOD. I really like honeybush blends, even though a lot of them have a bit of sourness to me once they start cooling. They’re not twiggy or woody like rooibos. Even they’re both made from the leaves. And they’re both members of the legume family. The plants both look so much like broom, tea friends. And while broom is beautiful when it blooms, it is also evil and destructive to the natural habitat here and must be destroyed. Ahem.

Anyways. The delightful apple. The delicate spices. This is like warm apple cider at Christmas. Only a lot lighter and less likely to put me into a sugar coma. Yum!

I totally should have bought more when it was available.

I mostly drink black tea.

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
