drank Pineapple Oolong by DAVIDsTEA
1577 tasting notes

I got this as a tea to go today.

Sadly, for some reason it tastes kind of rancid. Like milk-rancid. I’m not sure why, unless it’s because the steeper they used in-store was used for a lot of teas with milk, or… ooh. Maybe a tea with yogurt, and it wasn’t cleaned out super well before uses. You know, that might be it. I think the girl before me had Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait.

Oh well. It’s not bad enough I didn’t drink it.

(I was going to get Caramel Corn, but when I got in-store it just smelled so over the top sweet I couldn’t do it. And then I ended up getting sucked into buying some cherry amaretto ice cream, which is over the top sweet. Oh well.)

Should have gone with Caramel Corn :P

Haha! Maybe. But I am really enjoying this ice cream. :)

Black teas are my favourite, although I do drink the occasional green tea. I am exploring herbal and fruity teas for summer icing and winter evenings, and oolong and pu erh are new and exciting… although I do not like a tea that tastes mostly of seaweed.

No: Spearmint or peppermint, licorice root, gluten (cookie bits, wheat, rye, barley, I’m OK with oats)

After sending my first box to the USA, bubble-envelope swaps are where it’s at.

When I rate, my ratings are based on the little faces, and depend on what face I make when I sip the tea! :)

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
