Tea this morning. Not bad. Can mostly smell it, etc. I do like this one, but because the group of tea frens I hang out with most doesn’t order a lot from Della Terra, I probably won’t get this one again.

Oh, also Della Terra’s “*Tea add-in ingredients subject to change.” and their propensity for using gluteny things in their teas make me not want to risk getting sick.

This tea fren would like to order from Della Terra again someday… but is resisting even glancing at their site because she does not need moar tea.

Haha. Yeah, I’m just not interested in ordering from companies that won’t say whether or not something is gluten free. I like the flavour, and I like it more than DavidsTea’s Pumpkin whatever it is, but… I just don’t need it in my cupboard if I can’t be sure it’s safe for me to consume.

Kittenna

Yeah, I understand, since my roommate is GF, and so I need to be cautious when feeding her tea.

Most of the bigger companies are fine. Teavana especially is amazing about listing out ALL the ingredients, and I appreciate that. DavidsTea gets them wrong quite frequently, but they don’t use anything containing gluten. :)

Kittenna

Yeah, DT seems to be fine for my roommate, although we do scan ingredients every time just to be sure.

I’ve emailed them repeatedly and they said they never use gluten containing ingredients in their teas. I do actually trust them as far as that goes.

That’s good to know.

I mostly drink black tea.

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
