drank Crimson Horizon by Butiki Teas
2291 tasting notes

One of the jerkfaces in my building turned the heat down before I got up, so I’m sitting here, so cold, eating frozen berries and yogurt (it was warm in here when I went grocery shopping!) and drinking hot tea. I’m also wrapped in polar fleece, sitting cross-legged in my chair. Brr. (It’s a boiler/radiator system so it takes forever to warm up again…)

I like this tea a lot. Suuuuuuper strong. Verrrrrrry malty. Perfect hot with milk. I love CTCs, and this is a good example of a “good but really strong” one. :)

have you tried others that you could recommend?

OMGsrsly

They’re usually Assams, and my favourite is “Rungagora BPS-CTC” that my mom gets at the Tea Centre in Courtenay. I’m pretty sure it’s available elsewhere.

I mostly drink black tea.

Also: A map of tea places in Vancouver. I’ve been to some of them, but not a lot. If you have any suggestions, please let me know!
