9 Tasting Notes
I’ve tried this one a few times now, really nice refreshing green oolong.
Has a nice mellow floral woodsy flavour and I got quite a few steepings out of it.
I’ll be ordering from this company in the future for sure :)
I feel bad.. I had this one sitting under my monitor and forgot to pack it up when I sent the box off, sorry to anyone looking forward to trying it :(
On to the tea though, it’s a really nice black that I could see myself drinking again for sure. I’m on my second steeping and the flavour is really nice. It leaves a lingering sweetness on my palate that leaves me wanting to drink more and more.
Looking forward to seeing how this tea holds up to a few more steeps :)
Edit: Not really sure how to explain this but the tea leaves such a nice smokey bittersweet taste, I’ve never really experienced anything quite like it from a tea I’m really loving this
Well I guess it would be unfair to claim I don’t like ripe pu’erh anymore.
I’m sluggishly preparing myself for my closing shift tonight and figured I’d give this one a try, now I’m on my third steeping.
I really enjoyed this one, thanks to Dexter for putting it in the tea box!
Wow, I was not expecting this to be so good.. I opened it up and it smelled great. Threw the kettle on and brewed some, got distracted and forgot about it steeping for about 4-5 minutes..
But wow, I enjoy some flavoured teas but this is really great, it has such a warm comforting flavour like a fresh out of the oven cinnamon bun.
I will be buying a very large bag of this! Thanks to whoever put that in the tea box :)
Great black tea, right up there with Laoshan black for me.
Smooth with no bitterness, will be picking this one up in the future for sure!
This has turned out to be one of my go to teas.
The first steep has a strong sweet coconut flavour with a buttery finish. I usually brew this tea three times in a small personal tea pot.
On to the second brew the coconut is still there but much less noticeable at this point the oolong starts to shine through. The flavours are very complimentary.
Once the third steep comes around the coconut has nearly gone and the sweet roasty tea takes the stage.
I find myself drinking this tea every day or two, if you’re a lover of coconut I’d recommend picking this one up!
This was my first experience with a milk oolong so I don’t have anything to compare it to.
The dry tea has a sweet almost bready smell, it steeped into very enjoyable milky smell.
The tea itself wasn’t over powered by the milk scent, I found it to be very complimentary to the lightly floral, toasty oolong.
Something I would drink again surely and if you haven’t already tried a milk oolong Tea Sante’s is a great place to start!
I tried this tea out from my $5 Verdant sampler and I must say of the five it was by far my favourite.
The flavours my pallet picked up on were chocolate, earthy, smokey, sweet and musty(in a subtle nice way).
This will definitely be something I order more of in the future.
