This tastes really simple and plainish for the amount of things that are apparently jammed into this blend (black tea, pineapple bits, mango bits, apple treaters, hazelnut leaves, sour cherry halves, flavour, sunflower blossoms, rose hip peels, rose blossom leaves, mallow blossoms, marigold blossoms, peppermint leaves). To me, it was dark/strong black tea with a bit of citrus/flowery on top. Nothing identifiable. Maybe that’s the goal with a blend like that, idk. Very breakfast-tea for me!

So, Goji pop. Maybe I underleafed? Because ehhh, really light. The dry mix smells amazing, though, so maybe my expectations were too high. :P
That was last night.
This is a really nice light and mellow tea, lil bit sweetish, and the 2nd steep is lovely, too. Thanks @cavocorax! K & I gobbled this up.
(*But I really don’t taste any toffee! Mostly kinda sweet grassy.)
This is niiiice. My throat is loving it. The flavour is nice and light and not overly sweet and it tastes v green tea to me.
A strong and pretty PARIIIIISIAN Earl Grey?? I like it! It’s deliciousss.
Really excellent start to the day. :D
This tea is excellent. It’s more orange-peachy than mango, really, but oh so tasty. A bit dry and not overly sweet. Downsides: big chunks of fruit so it’s one of those ‘watch what you’re steeping’ teas so you can balance the flavours and it’s also gonna run out SOON because of those big chunks (2tsp/steep). Awww. :(
(ETA: This resteeped really well! 9mins, same temp.)
Oh! Comfort tea! This is strong and just a biiit bitter in a really good way. I don’t know how to rate this, but this is the kinda tea I crave as base-normal. Mom Tea. Comfort tea. I bet next time I’m bummed I run to this with milk and sugar. :P
YUM. That is all. Zzzz.
OK, now I know what people mean when they say a tea is buttery! I love coconut so I kinda had to buy this tea. (AND cavocorax sent me a sample but I ended up buying my own before it got here.. haha.) But I think if I had waited I wouldn’t have bought this. Not yet, anyway. The smell of oolong (?) is nauseating. :s I really didn’t want to try this tea once smelling it after steeping! I put it down and learned some crochet and forgot about til just now… but it’s better than it smells, for sure! I …actually like it. SURPRISED. But the smell is still turning my stomach, so I don’t know how eager I’ll be to make this again. Holding off rating for now, maybe oolong just isn’t for me? Will have to do a plain one soon to compare (since the long life oolong from David’s Tea also went so horribly wrong for me – although I was WAY more careful about temperature and steep time for this one)…. #adventuresinteatime
Last bit of Winter Wonderland! .___.
When I was looking up this tea to log it, I saw that they also have a Strawberry Cream that’s a black tea! I should have got that instead. Oh well. This smells amazing and it’s a really beautiful vivid colour and it’s more tart than I expected, but still good! It would be amazing iced, I’m sure. I added a bit of sugar, didn’t really make a big difference.
Something is wrong with me because this smelled and tasted like curry to me? K said it smelled and tasted like Earl Grey to him. IDEK. But I enjoyed it. I like curry! (But yeah, holding off rating.)
Something went wrong. So wrong.
Breakfast tea this morning! Not overly sweet (phew!) & such a great scent. I think I’m gonna sadface when I run out of this sample.
K liked this a fair bit more than me! I liked it, but I’m always a BIT disappointed by maple flavours. Mostly this reminded us of the maple whiskey that K bought.. so we added a shot :P and that was pretty good, too! Lovely to have with an apple crisp! ;) Won’t buy more of this one, but it was nice to sample. :D
Had a big pot of this for games & Kelly this afternoon. Played Crazy Eights, a Harry Potter trading card game (oh yes), Lexigo and Crib. FUN. I always forget how much I enjoy games and usually have be dragged into them… what a dummy :P :P
Anyway, this tea is a great tea! Simple and yum.
Nom nom nom. I just ordered more of this tonight – a tinful! :D It’s my fave. Was really good after an iffy supper.. mint for the tummy, feeling much better now & waiting for apple crisp!
People seem to love this tea a lot more than I did. Had this last night. Smelled REALLY GOOD dry and I really just wanted to nom it up. After steeping though, meh. The nutty yumminess became sorta obnoxious sicky-sweetness. I’m not really one for herbals that aren’t minty, overall, so I’m not really target market, but yeah, not for me.
Mmmmm, soapy. :/ Another tea that I’m going to give another go before rating, since I was a bit distracted by ALL THE DISHES EVER and oversteeped a bit. So, we’ll see. Because it smells AMAZING and I definitely want to try it again, but… yuck.
Weird ETA Uhhhhh this is growing on me as it cools? IDEK.
Weeeird. Good? Interesting. I don’t know, guys. Strange stuff. Was v unsure about coffee flavoured tea (dnw watery coffee!) but this was very flavourful. I understand why people call pu-erh “fishy” becuse, uh huh. But it’s not bad? It sounds like it should be, it smells like it should be but I don’t know, it’s kinda homey and mellow and soft…… and I’m absolutely boggled as to how to rate it. Resteeped it, still boggled.
First christmas tea out of the “sweet indulgences” set :D
(Even if I hadn’t wrapped this present, I’d still have smelled it a mile away!)
Anyway, I was barely conscious but this was nice! I’d say 80, but I’m waiting til next cup. K had some with me.
Had this tonight after a disastrous Red Velvet Cake x Lapsang Souchong accident (uncool, UNCOOL). The last two times I had this, I messed it up (underleafing, maybe? probably oversteeping; let’s be honest) and I was starting to doubt my original rating but nope – still accurate! Yum yum yum.
Whoops, forgot I was steeping something again. This tea smells so wonderful. I’ve been running all over the house today and am now having a kickass procrastination computer break. WITH TEA.
