Solid dry-storage sheng for the price. It has a sheng taste, on which there is elegant layers : ried fruit, spice, a bit of hay maybe ? Balanced and pleasant.

Pleasant kind of earthy, ashy smell and taste that is quite clean-tasting, when pushed (25-30s). When steeped lighter, a kind of wet wood, boat taste. The good point is the very strong lingering aromatics in the mouth in the first case – almost like you sprayed perfume into your mouth, but without the alcohol’s stinging. Worthwile for the low price it demands.

Clean. Super smooth. Notes of Rio tropical forest and a bit of smokiness are found in the aroma and taste. The aroma is humid, damp. . The description alone may make you think of a shu puerh, but no – it’s not at all dark – it’s bright and lively, in a sense. The vendors description mentions cannabis flowers. The tea holds up well for at least 8 infusions, with no downfall in flavor – it’s very consistent and has a lot to give.

The tea is at an high price point, but I reserve it for guests to which I really want to make a good and unique tea.

Very interesting, as it’s more complex than your usual roasty and toasty wuyi tea. Notes of sandalwood, chocolate and berries ; under the chocolatey flavors, the tea is actually quite juicy. The tea holds up many infusions.
