4 Tasting Notes
This tea (to me) has hints of pine, licorice and peach. I just brewed about a teaspoon and a half of these Ya bao buds in a small glass gaiwan. I’m new to Ya bao but i’m very interested in them now. This tea is great! If you like white teas and you like puerh I highly suggest this tea for you.
I just got this tea today. It is very lemony which is a very nice complement to the sheng puerh flavor. If you are a fan of Ya bao then you will most likely love this tea.
I’m not usually a fan of the smokey sheng puerhs, but this one is amazing! After a quick rinse in my yixing teapot this tea was ready to go. I had multiple short steepings each one more complex than the last. My first steepings were more of the smokey flavor but after the third it mellowed out and left me with the most amazing subtle lemon aftertaste. I really enjoyed my free sample and will be ordering more very soon!
Love the fragrance on this tea. It’s very subtle and stays great for a minimum of 8 steeps! Highly recommend!!
