I like pineapple, but I LOVE cilantro. If I could put cilantro on everything I would… no, that’s not true, but cilantro on certain things is absolute heaven! I’m not sure how this will be in a tea. It’s certainly creative, but makes me a little bit nervous. The scent of the dry leaf is not all that pleasant — it’s a little weird. After water has been added, the tea smells like pineapple, cilantro and cream! I’m surprised how good it smells. I haven’t been the biggest fan of pineapple teas, but this one smells so good.

Sipping… I think the cilantro and the white tea come out first. The pineapple peeks out later, but adds the nicest sweetness to the creamy white tea. The cilantro reminds me a little bit of pine needles — grassy & green. What’s interesting is that I wouldn’t be able to identify the cilantro as cilantro and pineapple as pineapple if I didn’t know they were in this blend. I don’t think that I would repurchase this, but it’s so unique and surprisingly nice!
