I’ve been happy to have this option in my cupboard for when I grow tired of rooibos or honeybush in the evening. I’ve still been wanting to find that vanilla frosting or cake flavor that others are lucky to find, but to me.. it just still tastes like the eggnog tea with a marshmallow leaf base. I think I’d always like to keep this around, but it doesn’t taste much like birthday cake to me.

Cameron B.

It actually reminds me a lot of chamomile, but with vanilla and cream added. :P

I’m with you there queen!

Did you add sugar to it? Just a little bit and then all of a sudden I got cake and frosting….

Lynxiebrat

maybe in addition to sugar, try some cream, that might add a frosting like taste. I would also add sprinkles just for the funzies of it.

Cameron B. – the first time I had this tea it reminded me quite a bit of Sleepytime tea. I can definitely see where you get the chamomile association!

Cheri and Lynxiebrat – I haven’t had this cup with sugar. I drink my tea plain 98% of the time.. but I will try it with a touch of sugar to see if it brings out any more of that birthday cake flavor! Thanks!

I usually drink my tea plain, but Stacy said to add just a little sugar, and when she tells me to do that, she’s right.
