431 Tasting Notes
I had the pleasure of trying this one at Tony’s Tea Tasting and it was love at first sip. It is amazing, the second steep my favorite. It is roasted in flavor, slightly sweet, bit grassy. Just amazing! When I was there I bought 100grams before it’s release. Now that Tony just released it I decided to pick more up just to have on hand…400grams later. Yikes!
Preparation
Just as promised. A delicious blend strawberry and chocolate. The chocolate flavor is just like candy but in a mellow subtle way. I think I may have to purchase this one. I am very picky about strawberry and chocolate blends and this is the first one I have enjoyed. Delicious!

Love…Love…LOVE…this green tea. 1st Steep – Vegetal, bold, slightly spinachy, and very green. The leaves are so fine and grow amazingly once steeped. 2nd Steep – Just as delicious and more roasty in flavor. It has made it into my permenent stash. :-)

I quite enjoyed this one as it was prepared for me by Tony of Chicago Tea Garden at a tea tasting of his and then again by my hand at home. It is very clean, slightly grass, and sweet. I would say it is bright and balanced. Delicious!

I had this after my almost daily cup of coffee. Yes, coffee just one cup though. Nevertheless, as for teas this one started my day. I was lucky to first sample this goodie at Tony’s Tea Tasting at the Chicago Tea Garden and since I enjoyed it I picked some of it up on my way out along with others in his delicious tea arsenal.
I found this one to be bold and smooth, a little smokey and toasty. It was a delicious cup, especially in the morning.

I have a cup of coffee in the morning too – on the weekends sometimes two! I don’t feel like I have to choose :)
This is sorta off-topic, but I saw your sales post on Tea Trade and I am SO getting some. I’ll probably do two orders because I couldn’t pick just five. :D

Thank you “KeenTeaThyme” for sending me such a generous sample of this deliciously creative tea. I was surprised to get a taste of toasted marshmallow. I tasted a hint towards the end of the sip. Overall, I wish it was a bit stronger in flavor but I will say it is smooth and just the right amount of smokiness. Yum!

This stuff is good and normally I am not that impressed with strictly vanilla teas but this so unique. I honestly can’t describe it well other than to say it isn’t sweet but it is smooth and tastes totally different than any other vanilla tea I have tried and that is a good thing.
