Thick creamy mouthfeel- one of the best I’ve experienced with an herbal. The chamomile flavour is clearly present but blends well with the other flavours. The aroma is quite creamy and sweet which does seem to translate to the flavour. I did have to use a quite strong cocentration of dry leaf to achieve this flavour profile, however

Flavors: Apple, Cream

Slightly dilute tasting. Good mix of flavours. Lemongrass flavour is well balanced, which I find to be quite a challenge with most teas.

Flavors: Lemon, Lime

Preparation
190 °F / 87 °C 5 min, 0 sec 5 tsp 13 OZ / 375 ML

Brewed tea smells very Christmas-y with clove and tartness.
The actual flavour of the tea has too manly elements with no flavour focus. I can detect the tartness of the hibiscus and the cutting sweetness of the licorice. I can possibly detect some apple note and spiciness of the ginger.
The mix of too many ingredients reminds me of “Indian Summer” by DAVIDsTEA- which I also did not enjoy.

Flavors: Licorice, Spicy, Tart

Boiling 5 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 6 OZ / 188 ML

Dilute-tasting. Chocolate note close to the end of the sip. Mint flavour a bit too mild. I’ve never been impressed with the chocolate flavouring offered in the DAVIDsTEA- reminds me of dish-soap for some reason.

Flavors: Chocolate, Peppermint

Preparation
Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 13 OZ / 375 ML

Smooth burnt-like sweetness. I can taste the straw-like rooibos but it is quite well balanced with the other flavours. There is a slight blandness near the end of the sip.

Flavors: Burnt Sugar, Smooth, Straw

Boiling 6 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 13 OZ / 375 ML

Brewed tea and wet leaf smells strongly of chestnut.
Flavour is nutty but dilute. I will try to use more leaf next time and infuse for a bit longer

Flavors: Chestnut

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 1 min, 45 sec 3 tsp 13 OZ / 385 ML

I definitely suggest more leaf, less time. Like 1 tbsp leaf for 8oz. for 1 min. :)

I find the aroma of the brewed infusion to be slightly offensive- tangy and sour. This does not, however, transfer into the flavour. I find the flavour to be dilute peppermint tasting with a mix of medicinal herb taste in the background.

Flavors: Herbs, Medicinal, Peppermint

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 6 min, 0 sec 3 tsp 13 OZ / 375 ML

Dilute-tasting. The fullness of the flavour really comes out at the end of the sip, especially as the brew cools. The walnut is a very nice complement to the oolong and pairs nicely with the cinnamon. I detect a hint of sticky sweetness. Note of apple. Roasted note from the chicory root. This tea may benefit from a stronger concentration of dry leaf.
