Noble Mark Ripe Pu'er Blend 2011 from Mandala Tea
92

I brewed western style, a few minutes, 5 grams or so for a cup. It was wonderful, no astringency, thick and earthy. A very well done blend. I would highly recommend. Didn’t get much out of a second steep.

HI!! Have you tried it with a 30 to 60 second first steep and then a couple of longer ones after that? Typically, I do a 30 second, a 60 second, a 120 second and then a 5 minute. Unless I’m doing gong fu cha style with lots of leaf in a very small pot… then steeping times start out much much shorter, 15 seconds and up from there. Thanks for writing about it!!

I often brew western style. It was excellent this way, just not much left for a second brewing. Thanks for checking in about it!
