RedLeaf drank Organic Royal Matcha by Red Leaf Tea

I AM EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE TEA COMPANY CALLED RED LEAF TEA.
1. THE FIRST TIME I ORDERED, THEY DID NOT SEND ME THE TIN CAN (TEA CONTAINER) THAT I PAID FOR.
2. THERE WAS NO INSTRUCTION ON HOW TO MAKE THE MATCHA. SO, IF YOU ARE A FIRST TIME MATCHA DRINKER, YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT THEM.
3. I E-MAILED THE COMPANY TO COMPLAIN. WHEN I FINALLY GOT THE TIN CAN THAT I PAID FOR, IT WAS THE WRONG SIZE. I DID NOT BOTHER TO COMPLAIN.
4. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE A COMPANY PHONE NUMBER POSTED ANYWHERE.
3. THE SECOND TIME I ORDERED. THE IMPERIAL TEA (MATCHA TEA) THAT I ORDERED WAS SO CLUMPY AND GRAINY. SO, I HAD TO E-MAIL THEM TO LET THEM KNOW. THEY HAVE NO CONCERN FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS AT ALL. THEY TOLD ME TO RETURN THE UNOPENED PACKAGE. HOW WOULD I HAVE KNOWN THAT THE MATCHA TEA IS CLUMPY AND GRAINY IF I DID NOT OPEN THE PACKAGE?
4. I WAS SO FRUSTRATED WITH THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY SO I E-MAILED THEM AND TOLD THEM THAT I WILL ORDER AGAIN AND WILL HAVE THE TEA TESTED IN THE LABORATORY (I WANT TO FIND OUT WHAT REALLY IS IN THEIR TEAS).
5. SO, I PLACED AN ORDER FOR A DIFFERENT TEA. THIS HIGHLY UNETHICAL COMPANY CANCELED MY ORDER BECAUSE THEY SAID THAT I WILL NOT BE HAPPY WITH THEIR PRODUCT. WHEN THE TRUTH IS, THEY ARE WORRIED ABOUT THEIR PRODUCT/S BEING LAB TESTED.
6. Robert Rydzewski OF RED LEAF TEA SENT ME AN E-MAIL THREATENING LEGAL ACTION. SO, THIS HIGHLY UNETHICAL COMPANY DOES NOT WANT YOU COMPLAINING EVEN IF THEY DO NOT SEND YOU THE PRODUCT YOU PAID FOR, EVEN IF THEY SENT YOU THE WRONG PRODUCT AND EVEN IF THEIR PRODUCT IS JUST EXTREMELY DISGUSTING THAT YOU CANNOT EVEN DRINK IT !!!
7. I AM AN AVID MATCHA TEA DRINKER BUT I WOULD RATHER DRINK POISON THAN ORDER FROM THIS RED LEAF TEA COMPANY WITH HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE PRODUCTS (SINCE THEY ARE CANCELING YOUR ORDER IF YOU HAVE THEIR PRODUCTS LAB TESTED).
8. TEAVANA IS A REPUTABLE COMPANY. THERE ARE ALSO TONS OF REPUTABLE TEA COMPANIES OUT THERE (YOU CAN SEARCH THE INTERNET). WHY BOTHER DEALING WITH A COMPANY WHOSE CHARACTER AND PRODUCTS ARE QUESTIONABLE.

Sounds like you’re the only person this has happened to. Sounds like you’re also VERY rude and unethical. Perhaps tea isn’t for you?

Whispering Pines Tea Company, there is always a first time for everything. Sounds like you are VERY RUDE and UNETHICAL yourself for assuming that I am rude and unethical only because you are an associate company of Red Leaf. Don’t worry, WE WILL NEVER BUY FROM YOU.

You signed up on Steepster under the name RedLeaf to post extremely negative reviews ABOUT Red Leaf. You also submitted a review to my company telling me that I should close down my business because of the comment I posted under your review. The fact that you are basically threatening Red Leaf to have their teas tested is rude. In fact, very rude. If you had a bad experience with the company, then don’t purchase from them. If a customer complained to me and threatened to order tea just to take it to the lab and test it, I would cancel their order too. I’d rather sell my tea to someone who will enjoy it than sell it to someone only buying it to legally attack my company.

Brenden Gebhart, you have no clue what I went through with Red Leaf. It probably is a rare occurrence but the matcha tea I received from them honestly tasted like dirt mixed with water. Wouldn’t you want to have the tea tested to see what is in it since I forced myself to drink it with the thought that it is healthy for me. I did get sick from it. Maybe I happen to get a bad batch. If you are confident about your product, why would you be scared of having your product tested? If you got sick from it, wouldn’t you want it tested? I did not even want to put this information on here because I want to be fair to them by not saying that you can get sick from it. However, you are trying to dig into why I really want their product/s tested.

Brenden Gebhart (Whispering Pines Tea Company), I am sure you know that although matcha tea is good for you, it can have high concentration of metals depending on the origin and other factors. Don’t you want the best product for your consumers? Why wouldn’t you want your product tested for metal traces and content if you are offering a high quality product? Just asking as I do not want to keep going back and forth on this. Take care !

After reading this I was very upset and wanted to write a long explanation explaining what has really happened, but life is short and if I have a choice of using my time to defend my self against this angry person or use it to be happy and thank those who have helped me to advance, I choose the latter.
It’s just not worth my time….

this is my first time seeing this poor Red Leaf Tea and Whispering Pines Tea Company! (I’ve never ordered from Whispering but I hear your good) I’ll admit that my first time with matcha was icky because I was new to it. Now that I’ve got it down with my modern method (no bowl and whisk for me) it really is awesome! Red Leaf Tea has been very pleasant and responded to my question about a mixup very quickly. I don’t know you RedLeaf but I think you may have gone too far because you were angry. I think next time you are so angry maybe take a few days before posting something to consider how your saying it and if it truly is appropriate.
