Been a while since I’ve logged anything. Nothing really great about this tea, but it’s not terrible. I bet it would be good with a gingerbread creamer or something like that, but as is its pretty mild.

Continuing sampling I picked the coconut pouchong. Smells lightly of coconut milk. Blends nicely with the pouchong tea.
Strong Nutty Hazelnut Flavors, not so much chocolate.
They listed off a whole bunch of fruits in the description, but for me i didn’t really taste any of them. The flowery-hibiscus taste kinda overwhelmed the fruits.
Back after awhile,
This tea is fairly dark with a creamy texture to it. Smells very vanillay, but not so much for taste. Personally i prefer a little more vanilla taste.
The tea is very mild, which would have lended itself to more vanilla flavor in my opinion.
Sadly I ran out of Yogi Tea’s Vanilla hazelnut tea, and when I went to the store they didn’t have any. :( I looked around and found this and thought I could try it. The vanilla and almond smell are very apparent. However the flavors are a little muted. I added some cream and caramel to the tea, which made it better. Still miss my vanilla hazelnut though.
Been a while since i’ve had this tea. Bumping rating down a little as i had rated this tea back when i had not had many types of tea.
Decided to make a chai out of this and added a vanilla coffee creamer to it. DELICIOUS.

I haven’t been a fan of rose tea in the past. Most I’ve tried have been tiptoeing the line between tea and brownish perfume. So I was kinda of skeptical at first of trying this tea. Especially after opening the package the rose smell was pretty strong. I strongly expected to gag on this.
However after steeping the rose mellowed out a lot. The fragrance is just strong enough to complement the tea without overwhelming it. Taste is smooth not unlike flower petals, with just a floral aftertaste. Is this something i would drink everyday, no. However I would drink this tea again, sometime in the spring :P
Snowed in at the BF’s. He absolutely loves this tea with honey in it. I do like the ginger in the tea, but it’s not as spicy as bigelow’s chai tea. The spice is more biting rather than warming and smooth. Would probably be great with some creamer.
GM Sample 21/31
This rating is probably a little baist since I don’t particularly like black teas. Strong black tea taste with slightly floral undertones. Had to add a lot of honey to finish. Very strong blend.

So it’s not really breakfast time….but i’m a college student so i’m still waking up. I normally don’t like back tea, too bitter (guess that’s astringeny?) and i usually have to put in a ton of honey to be able to drink it. However this one was not bad. It’s smooth and light, with honey undertones. Just a bit of bitterness at the end. I usually like fancier type teas but not a bad plain jane tea if your in the mood.
GM Sample 19/31
Smells very strongly of pears and sweetness. It’s almost like honey but not quite. Almost darker. Stepped this tea is very dark, darker than I would have expected. Tastewise a little disapointing. To me the black tea overpowers the pear and the tea isn’t sweet at all which is a little confusing cause it’s honey pear.
When i first saw this I thought, ginger and lemon……ok strange. However the tea is a delicious mix. Kinda reminds me of those ricolla herb and lemon cough drops. Very lemony with a slight herbal quality too it. Personally would have preferred more ginger. But overall not a bad tea.
GM 18/31
Crisp and refreshing. The Melon taste complements the white tea very nicely. And I don’t even like melon! It’s a very subtle taste that I enjoyed a lot. Reminds of spring for some reason. Just wish it felt like spring outside.

Back at school and back into the swing of things. I liked this tea much better than the regular jasmine tea. No bitterness to the tea, and the leaves are so cute! Light yellow green colored brew and very fragrant.

I’m completly new to darleeling so I’m not quite sure what musquetal is. I do detect a sweet fruity taste and than a slightly bitter nutty aftertaste, almost like when I used to chew on acorns as a kid. I don’t really detect a floral taste, but I do smell it. Not one of my faves, but not a bad tea.
GM Sample 15/31
Tea smells delicious. Very fragrent jasmine. Taste is a little bitter for me.
GM Sample 14/31
This tea is very light and airy. Very pale green color. This tea has a very sweet and refreshing scent to it. The hot tea wasn’t very impressive to me. However as the tea cooled down there was a nice faint grassy taste mixed with honey. Personally I prefer something a with a little more taste, but a nice change from the very complex pu-reh and lapsong I had recently.
Sample 13/31
I had barely opened this package, when I was hit with a very smokey odor. Smells almost like bacon without the greasy smell. The tea is very smooth and strong in flavor. Very smokey with a slightly bitter aftertaste. Not something i would drink everyday, but not a bad tea.
Sample 12/31
I’ve never had Pu-erh. So when I randomly pulled this out and got a little scared. There is a lot of scary sounding descriptions (FISH! in a tea?), but I worked up the courage to try it.
Tea brews VERY dark. I’ve never seen a tea this dark before. Almost looks like hersey’s syrup. Surprisingly the tea smells like the ocean, I wouldn’t say fish more like and ocean breeze with like dirt undertones. Smells faintly of coffee too.
I hesitently took a sip. First off it doesn’t taste like Fish. At first it tasted almost like chocolate, or what i imagine a chocolate tea should taste like. There is a slight smokey finish the the chocolate. Then a dirt aftertaste, not as strong as coffee though (thankfully)
Overall not as bad as i expected, but not something i would drink all the time. Was too busy trying to figure out exactly what i was tasting to enjoy the tea personally.
Sample 11/31
Finally able to drink tea again after a week and a half of post wisdom teeth extraction misery. Tea is a lovely amber color. Tea has a warm nutty taste, slightly floral, and kind of woody.
So went with something easy to drink after getting my wisdom teeth out. Had to let this one cool down a bit cause of my teeth. The tea started out a little bland. As it cooled down the spices were more prominant. This remained pretty bland as far as chai’s though.
Sample 10/31
While I liked this tea, I didn’t like it as much as the vanilla mint tea that Golden Moon also sells. The vanilla taste is not very prominant in the brewed tea in fact I think I think I taste more mint than vanilla. Not a bad tea but there are better vanilla offerings by this company.
