I usually mix this tea with Adagio’s Cream Black, some half & half and a cube of sugar, Its great. This is one of those tea that at the beginning with black i thought it to be astringent. But as time has gone I’ve tried other Ear gray have return to this one and i really enjoy it. I guessed my palate has change over the years. i am on my last couple cups and i am sad to see it go.

Got this one on my first adagios order ever. Its good to mix with others makes then creamier i usually end up mixing it with earl gray tea’s. On its own its a little astringent, so i dint think i liked this one so much, but now that i’m on my last cup I’m going to miss it. when i finish some of my older teas in my cabinet ill consider getting a bit more of this one.

This was my first matcha experience, i got it because my husbands always get matcha lattes when we go on our little dates to Starbucks every other weekend, so I’m trying to find out different way to prepare this tea. I think its good i have nothing else to compare it to. i want to try different one thou. Ive made it with just water and i find it grassy and a tiny bitter not enough that i won’t drink it. I always end up putting sweeter to this.

So i had purchase this tea and came here first to see the reviews. Ive never seen so many negatives review on a tea, so i mentally prepared myself and decided it to drink it cold. i just meh! i have to agree with a lot of the reviews out there saying its bitter even steeped cold. But i think it would be worst hot.

My aunt gave me this tea sampler from this company it came in a cute little tin. This is very smooth and light because of this i don’t reach for this one, when considering an english breakfast tea.

Peppermint tea was all i drank few years back and i think i over did it cause anything minty discuss me now. So i was felling a cold coming on and drank the last one of this tea, this isn’t horrible for a bagged tea, but it’s not something i enjoy anymore.

I have recently been dipping my feet into black teas. I haven’t try a lot of them but this one has become my favorite. I tend not to like the aftertaste of some black teas, i fell some of the lower quality i have try tend to be bitter, i read somewhere that the dryness on the back of my throat is probably from astringency of black teas. But not this one its perfect, i don’t fell it dry or bitter not even as my cup cools down. LOVE IT.

I’m finally reviewing this tea after having it for ever!

Sooooooooooooooo Funny story i was on Teavana being push around lol couple years back before there were merched it Starbucks. They had this sale and i din’t have my glasses! I get a sample of this tea when i walk in and i really liked it! i was in the market for something light and i was great i found it plus THEY WERE HAVING A SALE LOL. the girl says oh if you get a full tin you get and extra 10% off. I’m like okey that sounds good.

Then she processes to ask me. Are you sure you wanted it? beacause once we pour it out i can’t put it back in the stores tin. I look at and see that its like $2.4 on the wall were they have all the teas. I quickly calculate in my head that the tin is no more than 8oz it could be more than 40 dollars right with tax. I’m like okey lets do 1/2 of the tin. At NO moment she tells me the price whats so ever. Very nicely when she finish she says its 183 dollar and some change. i am like WHAT?? looking all confused. Then she tells me the price is $24.98 for 2oz.

Shocked with people waiting in line and this girl giving me a weird look i hand over my credit card and swallow deep. while she is processing the sale i ask her i thought it was cheeper and she is closing the lid on the tin and i finally see theres a big scratch on the tin right were the price was at the point (.) that i thought i saw was not there, it never was there. She clearly still sees my face of shocked and so then she tells me the story about the monk and the moneys. wich basically i can’t just imagine them all laughing at me.

HOW IM I GONNA EXPLAIN THIS TO MY HUSBAND at this time newlyweds almost 200 dollars on 1 tea not even multiple teas just one. This was like the second time i go in to this store not knowing the return policy i assume i can’t return it because she specifically mention pouring it back to the big tins. So its been sitting on my cabinet for almost 2 years cause I’m gonna make sure this tea last me for ever lol. I LEARN MY LEASON and have prohibit myself to only buying online. i think of this as my only birthday gift i bought that year.

kidding aside i re-steep about 4 to 5 times It has a orchid aroma to it. I don’t love it. It taste a little too grassy to me. But I will definitely drink it as long as its around! It goes down smooth and i like it better iced. And most important i would not repurchase =o i can afford it!.
