I am almost out of this (horrors), but decided to have a cup this morning. My sleep has been thrown, as there was a somewhat scary disturbance around my house a few nights ago, and I’ve been living from cup of tea to cup of tea ever since.
So, today, faced with a long day of work, it was time to face the morning with a cup of beloved Tower of London, which always grounds me and puts me in a good mood. This will absolutely be going on the reorder list.

Oh, someone broke into my backyard in the middle of the night, to use my yard as an escape route. Unsettling. To the tower they go!

you could have imperiously shrieked out the window: ‘away, away ill favoured one!’ and go ‘mikado’ on them! lol.
Always tempting to go all Mikado on them. I shall try and remember it for next time.
it would have been more suave to go all shakesperian on them, except the quote wasn’t his. sorry.
Well, its hard to run after someone using a battle speach from Shakespeare (as much as I would love to. My degree is in Shakespeare studies!). Next time.
LMAO…. brandishing something stabby on a chain while humbly shrieking ‘the quality of mercy is NOT strained!!!’ (first time around i was honours english and lingustics.)
