2967 Tasting Notes
I’ve got some time this afternoon to get stuff done, which will be lovely. First thing on the itinerary is tea.
Warm and complex, this is good. It really does have a creamy mouthfeel, and the sensation that nutmeg has been lovingly dusted over the top. Impressive.
I continue to feel a touch under the weather, which is not fun. Not enough to keep me from work, but not enough to be entirely comfortable when out and about.
The solution, or as much as there can be a solution, is tea!
Almost out of this soothing blend of peppermint, ginger and chamomile blossoms. I’ll miss it, when its gone, its great for these days.
Monday. How on earth is it Monday? I swear I had more weekend owed to me! I was going to drink so much more tea!
Sigh.
Well, what weekend I did have was fun, and now, with the structure of the week, I can get some serious work done on the ol’ tea drinking front.
I’m catching up on my sleep, so I still need teas with a bit of pep and punch. Yes, some peppermint will do nicely, thank you. I’ll be a bit sad when this is gone.
In other news, its really soothing to read tasting notes. I’ve been reading the notes from today’s feed in between projects at my busy job, and finding them so nice- honest and funny and charming and just good. Its really nice to have so many invisible tea friends, who write such nice notes.
Gosh my boyfriend loves this tea. He’s mad for the mighty leaf teas, and… well, I find them a little underwhelming. Perfectly pleasant, mind you, but not as special or rich as other teas.
That, plus the fact that Mightly Leaf is a pricey tea, even if its available in the grocery store, and for that buck, I want a little more bang.
Still, it served well as a quick breakfast cup.
