Another perfect day for drinking this blend.
I am starting to see the bottom of the tin! Whee! Maybe this one will be drunk by Black Friday, after all…..

Still raining, and I am feeling happy. Rain is my favorite weather, so if I wake up in the middle of the night and hear it falling, then I am a very happy camper.
This seemed like the perfect wooly sweater of a tea to have this morning.
Also, less thematically, I’m getting low on it, so it might be one of my black Friday sipdowns, if I work at it.
In the meantime, nom.

And its done! Goodbye, lackluster tea! Be gone forever from my cupboard!

This is the perfect weather for this tea. Its raining, there is a chill in the air, and a faint scent of woodsmoke. This tea compliments that atmosphere to perfection.
Sluuurp. Sigh. Ahh.
Proper tea drinking weather!

Tea of the morning.
I can’t believe I’ve only drunk this once before. Can that possibly be true? Maybe, if I am honest. How upsetting!
Well, a sturdy mug of this was the way to go today, as its rainy out there, and something smokey and spicy is just the ticket.
I am glad I trusted my instincts for a shorter steeping time today. This is good, with a warm sweetness from the ginger at the edge of the lapsang smoke, but I think too long a brew time would render it almost undrinkable. So I had a short steep (around 3 1/2 minutes) and enjoyed my cup very much.

This was a day I was not overly inclined to have a cup, but I did, and am glad to be that much closer to the bottom of the tin.

Tea of my morning. A nice, rich, cozy sort of blend. It fits its name well.

I really can see the bottom of this tin. If I am good, and have some every day, I should be done by the end of the week.
Oh, what a frabjous day that will be!

This tin finally looks like its getting low! Wahoo!
Its not as cold outside today, meaning my enjoyment of this is not quite as complete as I could wish it (this somehow is best on very cold mornings), but it still generally satisfied.
