sample sipdown! Thanks Raritea! Apparently i’ve had this before, but it was a while ago and i’ve since enjoyed a few earl grey teas, though not ALL. Apparently, my varying changes don’t extend to this tea…that i sipped..and them promptly refused to drink. It appears as though i actually like it less than the first time i tried it haha oh well! one more tea and terri and i can have our sip off! lol

I like how you use the full scale of ratings. I need to be more critical as ok teas clump around 70-75, good are 75+, and great are 85+. I only rate below 50 if I pour it out.
i really try to… “ok” teas are usually in the 60 mark… 70 range is like yeah..some of these i’d order again. Mostly it has to hit 85+ for me yo want to keep it around permanently…with a few exceptions.
Spit out = under 20
if it’s drinkable but not enjoyable it falls somewhere in the 30-50 heh
I gave up rating teas. I just couldn’t find my reference points.
I rate them as a general reference point for myself… Ie if I rate something as a 75 and something as an 85, I know which I like more, or felt at the time I likes more. Mostly so that when in restocking, I know which ones come first. Eg. Lime, lemon chiffon, orange and cream from Della terra are all pretty close…but orange and cream edges he the other two out a bit, and lime over lemon every day, so my ratings reflect the order…even though they’re all within a few points so that I remember that way instead of having to remember lol
