I so need a few more people to drink this in the near future. The first time i had this, it was all sweet potato sort of flavours and now it’s lightly smokey, making it a delicious, delicious tea for a splash of maple syrup. Verdant is almost out of this, so i’m trying to decide whether to pick up some more, since i seem to be really enjoying it as of late.

I just bought 4 ounces and would have bought all of it if I could afford to!
I loved the sample I got, then when I ordered it, it wasn’t the same. Like Courtney, it was much smokier than my sample had been and I don’t care much for it. I keep meaning to try it again, steeping differently, etc. but I always find something else to drink instead…:)
yeah the sample was WAY different, but i like this version as well since i don’t mind a little smoke :)
Huh? Mine isn’t smoky. I taste cocoa and potato with some honey. Strange. Even my friends say this is like chocolate milk shake and fries so I just don’t get it.
Bonnie – my first taste of this was exactly like yours…but the recent bag i picked up is for sure more like a keemun…it’s weird…good but not the same tea i had haha
that’s not really acceptable in my book…ALL of the tea should be the same or at least tell people it’s not…
yeah, i guess i haven’t asked verdant about it because i don’t mind the light smokiness…
