The one time I did weigh my cupboard, it was so much effort. Didn’t help that my scale was broken also. It was fun to figure things out though. Perhaps I will do it again sometime
The smaller the number of teas you have, the easier weighing gets hahaha. I just like doing it now because of all the French teas I brought home. Numbers didn’t go up much but I added 3.5kg to my cupboard.
Interesting concept though- weighing your cupboard. I suppose that would give a much more accurate understanding about how much tea you really have.
I have mostly loose leaf teas but even having the few bagged teas I do would make the process a little more difficult, lol. Not to mention I bag up loose leaf teas for work in order to use them up. In the past I have “measured” my cupboard by seeing how many tbsp/cups I have of certain teas. Not as accurate, I suppose, but it’s quick to do and take notes on.
